SOS to Palmeira, Hugh, etc on this thread and anyone who can verify that this is a picture of

RYDER PERCIVAL NASH

He was second surgeon on the maiden voyage in 1911 of the RMS Olympic, sister ship to the RMS Titanic of ill-fame a year later.

I have a photograph of 13 Olympic officers from the Maiden Voyage, 12 of their identities are known to me. The senior surgeon (who later went down with the Titanic) is shown. Logically, this should be the assistant surgeon, who is shown on the sign-on crew manifest as Ryder Percival Nash.

Is anyone in a position to confirm that this is so?

Alternatively, is there are family similarity? Does he look like his brothers/father etc?

If anyone has a photo of RP Nash they are willing to share with me, I should be delighted to receive it on my email address - (*)

Gee, it really would be great if someone helped me on Ryder Percival Nash, he mused in his third post.

Here is another picture of my strongly suspected Ryder Percival Nash.

Same voyage, less good.

Hello Senan!

I'm sorry, I cannot verify the photo - wish I could.... don't have a single verified photograph of Ryder Percival Nash.

Ryder Percival Nash died 18/12/1957 in Poole Dorset

Have attached two photos:
1. Ryder Percival's aunts - my great grandmother Priscilla Rebecca with her sister Mary Emily; I imagine the unknown male is one of their brothers.
2. Benny Nash - Ryder' Percival's cousin...there could be a family likeness between Benny and the chap in your photograph.

Are you connected to the family?

Thanks a lot - No, am no connection at all.

I can see RP Nash on the Olympic manifest. I have a pic with the Captain, Chief Officer, Chief Engineer, Six ranking officers, Purser and assistant purser, and Chief Surgeon. There's one unidentified, but there is only the assistant surgeon remaining as a qualifying officer.

Therefore this is a picture of RP Nash.

Hello, family members.
My great grandmother was Mary Emily Nash (b.1851), the eldest of Joseph Nash and Elizabeth Williams.  She married Richard Dawson Bennett (1845-1924).  Priscilla Rebecca Nash (1854-1930) married Richard's brother Charles.  I only have two brothers, Samuel Arthur Nash and Ryder Joseph Nash (d.1917).  Does anyone have a family tree I can look at?  The exchanges indicate there were another three brothers.  What were their names?
Best wishes to you all.
