Death notices - NZSG CD V5 - **COMPLETED**

Hi there

Does anyone know if it say Southland Times and gives the person's name and date with a page number  ie: 24 Feb 1993 Page 028 Does it mean it was in the paper that day and that is the page to look at for it.

I am not sure if worded right.

I can give the name via PM if needed as I am not sure if it is the one I am looking for or not. It says to contact Southland Branch - NZSG

from memory it is the edition date
I had some from some Otago and BOP newspapers as well and they were same

I seem to have memories of contacting paper direct or was it to the Invercargill library
worth a shot to get it for no$

I have now heard back from the Invercargill Library and I think they said it would be $5.00 for each death notice I wanted.

If only we had some of the other South Island Newspapers on microfiche at our Christchurch Library it would make things easier. Well that is my moaning out of the way

How many death notices did you want? 

Southland Times Newspapers are available in the Invercargill Library on micofiche going back many years.  Have used them.

You can access for free.
