WOLIDGE/WOULIDGE/WORLEDGE/WHIRLEDGE, Leicester, Derbyshire area

I am trying to unravel this family. Do these alternate spellings denote the same family or are they unrelated? My problem is I have seen the surname spelled two different ways in the same document! However, the Wolidge/Woulidge form seems very rare and there are thus huge gaps in my family tree  Did they form a breakaway group from the more common Whirledges? or are they totally un-related?
             Can anyone who knows the area shed light on the problem?

Many thanks for looking that up, Sylvia.
     Checking though my records, I find it is Benjamin Woulidge Junior's marriage. His wife was Lucy on census returns so now I know her maiden name.
