Edward T Winbush snr. son of Edward John and Sarah and therefore brother of John.

So my way forward would be John L Winbush's will to see if it said 'Edward T Winbush my nephew'

Starting at the end :D
Edward Thomas WINBUSH (1881-1917) was the son of Edward Thomas (1852-1899) who was the brother of John (b 1854 London).
That suggests to me that John (b 1854 London) is probably the same John that died in Devon in 1914 - would you agree or do we still potentially have 2 Johns?

Edward John (1823-1874) and his father John (1797-1856/7) were both licensed victuallers, as was Edward's son, Alfred. Edward's sister Elizabeth also married a licensed victualler.

Working my way up...

I think it is just one man. The will for £5 will hopefully give relationships which will nail it one way or the other.

Edward Thomas and Julia are the parents of Edward Thomas (science master).

Ooops thought I'd posted the above but it's still sitting in the reply box.

Where did you find reference to the Will Toni?
I can't see it on TNA (then again I have so much trouble navigating there)
