Hi am looking for the father of Hugh Lindsay  i have found Hugh on the census  1881 Census for Dumbarton Scotland he married a Mary Jane hall  and they both came from antrim ireland. if any one can help also was their a reason they ended up in vale of leaven Scotland

There is a Mary Jane Hall (born 1838) married hugh Lindsay in The Grange Antrim 1859.

I had just a quick look so there might b more.
antrim, donegore, ballycraigy, doagh, ballysavage,  carnmoney, ballyhenry, belfast, mallusk, hydepark names - twigg, gault, robinson, stevenson, todd, kirkpatrick, porter, mayne, topping, McDowell, douglas

Hi thanks i did find it. Still more work to do  on the lindsay family it never ends .
