Hi there, butting in on the Brennan etc. connection. I have the family also, beginning in Ireland c 1821,Patrick married Grace Ray, Rae Raw, moved to Scotland during the Famine, and married in 1854. Children: Mary, Bridget, Jane , Patrick and Rose who is my Grt. Grandmother. She married Richard Wedlock in 1878 and died 1943.Co. Kilkenny seems the more likely as they are all Catholics. I am trying to find the origins of both of these families. Connected do you think? ::)

Hello, I have a relative named Catherine Brennan born in Meath, Ireland in December 1842. She immigrated to the United States around 1855 and married William McGuirk in Orange, New Jersey around 1859. However, I've been having trouble finding any information on her Brennan family. Have you had any luck in your search?

-Theresa McGuirk
