Frederick Thomas King - Shoreditch

Looking for any info on a Frederick Thomas King who was born in Shoreditch in 1831, then moved to New Zealand, dying 1878
Any help much appreciated

When did he moved to NZ?
Possible found in 1841 census 12 Elsey Place St.Leonards Shoreditch

William King 40 Bricklayer
George 20
James King 45 ? Mender?
Frederick 9
Rose 40 all born in the county ( shown in that order?)

Many thanks for that, it looks like the baptism one matches as I had some info but but confirmed about being baptised in Feb 1831 - they came to NZ in 1856
Where did you get the baptism info from Ian, and is it easy to access?

Hi Alan, Frederick Thomas was my 3rd GGFather. What details are you after?
I have a few certificates of the family. His parents were Frederick Thomas King and Charlotte Shanks.
Immigration to NZ was in 1856 on "Joseph Fletcher" ship.
Frederick was married to Eliza Cole, had 10 children. + 4 other siblings

Hi there
I've just been sent a marriage certificate that makes it look like the father of Frederick Thomas King was George King, not Frederick as I've always thought, especially if  you compare Eliza's signature on the other document attached.
Has anyone heard of George before?
