There's this birth at approximatively the right time:

Stella Blanche Elias
Sep 1886 Hastings 2b 43

Any idea what the E in Stella B E stood for?

In the words of Victor Meldrum - 'I do not believe it!'

Tati- I have just been searching around for her with that very same thought  :D

I found a marriage for Eva Elias 1887 to either Mr Muller or Mr Sharp but haven't yet got any further.

I was looking at that as well - hoping that the D in Mr Muller's name was D'Orsay - but I'm not getting anywhere  :-\

Thank you everybody  ;D

I'm not going to be much help re any more information about her I'm afraid, but I do wonder from the Elias connection whether she was born Stella Blanche Elias as the birth reg that Tati found (which certainly fits) and maybe whoever Mr D'Orsay was, was her step father or at a tight squeeze a first husband.

She's confused me for a while as I couldnt find a Stella B E D'Orsay in the UK or abroad other than the marraige to Mr Pinto... :)

hmmm...may have randomly cracked it... ;D

the familysearch pilot has a Stella Orsay, born 1886, living in Argentina in 1895 on the census.  anyone any good at translation ?!  ;D

explains her absence in the UK i guess  :D

That's VERY interesting. They come back from Buenos Ayres in 1906.

A search for Leopold & Jeannette Orsay here www.1911census.co.uk finds ... Leopold & Jeannette Elias Orsay  :D

Fabulous!!  ;D  wonder if Leopold was step father if we are taking Stella Blanche (1886) as mine, registered as Elias.   All of Stella's siblings seem to be born abroad.
