Could someone help with a Lorrha family please

I'm looking for the marriage of John KENNEDY to Ellen BROPHY in Lorrha in abt 1825-6
Ellen BROPHY's parents are said to be Patrick and Catherine

Also the death of the above John KENNEDY in Lorrha between 1849 & 1858

From Australian passenger lists the children of John KENNEDY & Ellen BROPHY appear to be:
Denis KENNEDY  c 1826
Anne KENNEDY c 1829
Patrick KENNEDY c 1836
Michael KENNEDY c 1838
Bridget KENNEDY c 1840
John KENNEDY c 1844
Any details on the birth/baptism of these people would also be great

There is a gap between Anne KENNEDY (1829) & Patrick KENNEDY (1836) so I am guessing that there are more births between these two.

It appears that the two older children Denis & Anne emigrated to Australia in 1849 on the ship Una
Ellen KENNEDY nee BROPHY and the other children emigrated to Australia in 1858 on the ship Northern Light, after John KENNEDY had died.

The Kennedy/Brophy marriage and the births are too early for civil records, so you will first need to check what parish records are available for the area. You didnt mention a religion for the family, but presuming that they were RC...

As far as I can see the RC marriage and baptism records for the parish of 'Lorrha and Dorrha' only go back to 1829. Burials are not usually included in RC registers.

Some records for the parish (as transcripts) are available on the pay-website of the Irish Family History Foundation at http://www.rootsireland.ie  They appear to have marriages back to 1828 and baptisms to 1839.

Denis Kennedy born c 1826 in Lorrha parish Tipperary was an ancestor of mine. I have been unable to find any more details of the family in Ireland than you have listed. I do have more information of his descendants in Australia. Any more details of the Tipperary records would be appreciated when and if they become available.

Ellen Kennedy baptised 24 Sept 1831 Lorrah and Dorrha Tipperary F John Kennedy M Ellen Brophy Between Anne and Patrick. Other child was
James Kennedy Baptised 1 July 1843 Lorrha and Dorrha, Tipperary,Ireland F John Kennedy M Ellen Brophy.
Ellen and James did not migrate with mother and siblings on the Una so I am unsure of their life story.

Hi, I have sent you the info. on 6 of the children.
Ellen the Mother travelled to Australia in 1858 with the sons John aged 14 and Michael aged 20.
The ship was the Northern Light.
