Hopefully none of the people you mention are still living? If so, you must modify the post and remove their names to stay within Rootschat rules. 

You may be better off trying to find the death record in BC and work from there, or buy the marriage certificate and hope that it provides John's Father's name and occupation, and a family address.

Rest assured that everyone specifically named is known to be deceased.  Unfortunately for my kids this interest in their heritage and ancestors was not awakened while anyone was still alive to ask!!

The best scenario would be if there ARE any living relatives out there that recognize these families or are descendants of the named persons, that they would be interested in contact and a sharing of information on common ancestors.

Thanks Hack on the information about the registers.  I was enquiring if it was possible to do a physical viewing of the information.  Now I know such an action is not possible.  Will refrain from requesting lookups from indexes in the future.

I checked the index for Dilwyn Griffiths, which is less common but it doesn't help that we don't know where or when he was born (and uncertain that he was John's brother).

Hi, I am looking up information regarding John Griffiths, my father. I need the information on his birthdate and parents. I need info asap for my citizenship papers and passport. We were estranged since I was 12 years old and have no information on him. I have all the information on my mom, Kathleen, but all other info inquiries have hit a brick wall.
Dilwyn was, for sure John's brother...as was Joe and Tom. I believe they had a sister, Betty.

The best thing is to buy the marriage certificate listed in reply #6. Hopefully this would provide details of John's father that may help you to further your research.
