Search medal list help

Hi,

My dad was in both wars with the Royal Naval Reserve.

I have a copy of his discharge paper in 1914 also the ships he served on in the 1939 war with a copy of his
certificate of service.

When I checked for his medals there were thousands of names,

I tried an advanced search but it came up with nothing.

I know I am doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

There must be any easier way than checking thousands of names, mustn't there?

Hi Jakky,

if you put his service number into the 'keywords' box, this will limit the number of names.

My GF was also in the RNR during WWII - I wrote off somewhere for his medal entitlement - can't remember offhand where. I'll have a look at home this evening and let you know.

Hi,

I wonder if anyone on here can read this? (it's from a letter from the Admiralty dated 1922 to my father concerning medals). I can't read the name of the last medal mentioned.
