Surfleet burial, and will (1770)
« on: Saturday 08 January 11 05:13 GMT (UK) »
I have received a handwritten tree, from a distant relative, which was done by her father in the 1980s. It contains many interesting bits of information that I did not have. One of them was about Jonathan FRICKNALL (or FRECKNALL/FRIGNALL) who died in 1770.

He is said to have died in 1770 in Surfleet, Lincolnshire, and also to have left a will. I am looking for a burial to confirm this (presumably at Surfleet). Also, where might I find information about the will - I can't find him in the index on the Lincolnshire CC website, or in the PCC wills.

Thanks,
Alexander

He seems to be there -

Fricknall: Jonathan, yeo., Surfleet, 1770/65

Note: he is listed as 1770165 owing to limitations of their scanner - it doesn't always recognise the "slash" and inserta a "1" instead. :)
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Thank you Geoff, I spent ages on that website trying to find the right page - must have missed it somehow. I will now look for how to get a copy of the will...

Thanks!
