Hi Norrie

I'm chasing Russell sidelines at the moment.  Picked up a rootsweb posting of yours from 2005 regarding Dunsire gravestones in East Wemyss cemetery.  Do you still have a photo of the following please?

385 John Russell DUNSIRE died 1.6.1968 age 68
youngest son of David & Sarah DUNSIRE
and brother of Annie Thomson DUNSIRE
died 29.5.1971 age 68

David's wife was Sarah Thomson.  His parents being Isabella Russell and Robert Dunsire who both died in 1871 but I don't think there would be a gravestone for them anyway.

Judging by various ancestry trees, there was also another son Alexander Thomson Dunsire who died about 1953 and was buried in East Wemyss.  David Dunsire died 1945.

Any help appreciated.

Regards

Nicola

Hi Norrie

Very many thanks again.

I'd be very interested in a photo of the following please if you have one.

1484.   In memory of Sarah Thomson beloved wife of David Dunsire d. 7.3.1920 aged 57y. Also the above David Dunsire d. 9.1.1945 aged 84y. Also their daughter Catherine Thomson Dunsire d.
2.4.1947 aged 57y. Also their daughter Sarah Thomson Dunsire d. 26.10.1955 aged 64y. Also the above Robert Dunsire d. 31.8.1871 aged 40y and his mother Isabella Russell d. 24.4.1871 aged 33y

I think there was also a son Alexander Thomson Dunsire but not sure where or when he died, although an ancestry tree says 1953 but not where.

I also wonder whether or not there is a gravestone to Margaret Scott Russell and any of her two husbands Charles Laing and James Foster please?  She died in West Wemyss in 1918.

Thanks again.
