Did you ever get more comment? The Clark [no E] family from the Bristol area were connected to George Hooper convict.
John Clark married was in Melbourne at some time and settled in New Zealand chasing the gold rush.
He had two daughters and two sons.

What is your connection/interest?

Hi David,

I haven't really made any headway to find concrete evidence of the Clark connection . I would like to find a marriage record for Hannah Hoopers second marriage to William Clark but so far no luck.

George Uley Hoopers second son, William Uley Hooper, married Emily Mary Walton who was connected to my family.
