There is a couple of Jane Jones 1861 cens born Liverpool and living Liverpool and also born Liverpool and living in Anglesey??

None of this journey is going to be easy with such names I'm afraid.

There seems no positive Rowland Williams bc.1854 Llangaffo on either 1861/1871 Census.    You need to check Llangaffo baptisms to see if he appears there.    Maybe also get his marriage certificate - he married Jane Jones Dec.qtr.1879 Carnavon ref. 11b 807.

This could be a slow journey back.

Thanks for the marriage date.
Looking for Rowland's (jnr) sister Margaret, on 1891 census age 6 yrs not with family on 1901 census, so the hunt continues. This must be the Meg I am looking for.
It does appear from the info given on 1881 census that Rowland Williams is of NO relation to Thomas Williams.

Margaret Williams.   S. 15 yrs  Domestic General Servant B. Llanfaelog. Spoke Bath??
for the Hotel Proprietor Thomas Joseph Cattrell and wife Alice.

So this is the connection of Meg and Rose. Meg was older than Rose by abt 10 years.

Was this Meg/Margaret the same person as Maggie Jones on Rose's marriage cert?? I might have to contact
the very nice lady Isle of Anglesey Archives to see if she can find a marriage for Meg/Margaret/Maggie Williams.

If Meg owned Oonavara then I don't think it came from the Williams side, so maybe she did marry, more searching.
