Boyd family

Just started on family history and have found that my grandfather Thomas Boyd d.o.b 1883 (married in Scotland) was son of Thomas Boyd who married Sarah Ross on May 5th 1873 at the College Sq in the parish of Belfast in Co. Antrim. ages are given as 'full' Thomas was residing in Birkenhead and his fathers name was Alexander. I know Boyd is a common name but just wondered if anyone else had any info on this family.

Hi,
 I have found the marriage of  Thomas Boyd, father Alexander, to Sarah Ross, father John, in College Square Presbyterian Church, Parish of Shankill. Belfast. The date given is 31 May 1873.
  I can also find a child born to a couple with these names in Largs, Scotland on10 Jan 1881, Margaret Jane Boyd.

There might be more than one couple with the names Thomas Boyd and Sarah Ross- in addition to the Largs birth I found children in Canada/U.S. but not sure if they are all the same family.

Yes, I also found the US/Canada births but only mentioned the Scottish one because of the  Scottish connection in the original message.

Re following message - I have in my possession the family bible which this Thomas Boyd must have owned as all these individuals are mentioned in the family names.  We found it in a skip!  If anyone from the family wishes to contact me I will endeavour to return it.

My great great great grandmother  who was married to James Couser. Their son Thomas Couser (great great grandfather) - born 1845 in Cavanacaw, Lisnadill, Armagh, Ireland and died 3 July 1922 in Cornwall Street, South Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Death Age: 73. Cancer of the leg. No medical attention. Samuel Warnock (son-in-law) was present at the death.
