Hi Sooze!

I too have recently been looking for Woolmer and have got as far back as William Taylor Woolmer b. 1861 reg. at Shoreditch as 4Q 1c. 134.

His death is reg as Whitechapel 1889 showing age 26yrs at 1Q 1c. 222.   Assuming they are the same man.

A William Taylor Woolmer married Sarah Barry b. 1885 in 1884 at Camberwell in the 3Q and they had a son Frederick Charles b. 1886.(I have his birth cert)

If any of this makes sense do comment please and I have some further info.
