Hi Norrie, are you able to check your index for a headstone in Northall cemetery for John Lowrie died 1824 and wife Ann died 1866
Also John Lowrie/Lourie died 1802 and wife Elspat died 1805 also Northall cemetery - maybe any other Lowrie/Lowry earlier? Any photos of these would be greatly appreciated. I have the later ones.

Thank you very much - Barbara

John Philp was born 20 Feb 1781 in Markinch & died 4 March 1846 in Milton Balgonie, Fife. Catherine Henderson - Philp was born abt. 1780 in Newburgh, Fife & died 1851 also in Milton Balgonie, Fife. I just assumed that since all their children was baptized in Markinch and John being born there that John & Catherine could be buried there.

Hi Gregory John was buried at Markinch old kirk cemetery there is no headstone
and entry in Markinch Burials 1799 _ 1854 reads
Philp John (65) Milton 4th March 1846
In Philp ground at the gate 4th grave from the enterance
