Blyth News Death Notices.

In Blyth Library, first floor, is a set of drawers housing a million index cards in alpha order... some of these are notices of BMDs, referenced with date of edition of Blyth News. Some even hold the page number whereon notice appeared.

Drawers face the reception desk.

Hi,

This is what I found out about ordering copies of death notices.

1939 onward can be obtained from Newcastle Evening Chronicle.

Prior to 1939  are at the local studies department at Newcastle Central Library; email:local.studies@Newcastle.gov.uk

Thank you for posting the index.
