Hi. My nana was Ethel Almond. I know my dad had an aunty Maggie and a cousin named Margaret Price. He told me two of my Nana's sisters died from burns which must have been Edith and Elizabeth as we have a photo of my nana with Emma when they were middle aged My Nana's mum was a Sunday school teacher that's all I can remember being told

Welcome to Rootschat, Kitty.

This is a thread from 2011, but hopefully Pricey is still receiving notifications via email.

Meanwhile, is there anything you would like information on, regarding your ancestors.

Do note that the living can’t be discussed on Rootschat.

Hi. I'm sure it's the same family.  From my father's stories  I heard that  my nana was born around 1901 and her parents were George Almond and Elizabeth Barnes from Lymm. I don't remember her brother being mentioned but he talked of his aunt's Emma and Maggie who's married name was Price and two other sisters who died in childhood. I know one was Elizabeth as she is missing from the 1911 census but the other cannot be Edith as I have just seen that she married. He also talked of a few boys in the same family who died as children and a later child having the same name as one of the boys who died

Hi. My dad Thomas is Ethel's son.  She married Anthony Berry.  I would love to see the photograph as would my dad and my two sisters. I am seeing everyone tomorrow for our mum's birthday.  Can't wait to tell them.
