1851 census look up please

Hello Everyone,
Could anyone find a TOM ALLAN OAKLEY B1832 DORSET in either the 1841 census or the 1851 census please.
He married a Jane Bound in Poole in 1859.

I am trying to find out who his parents were .
I have a TOM HOWELL OAKLEY B1829 Dorset in my tree whose father was Thomas Oakley b1794 Blandford and I believe that TOM HOWELL OAKLEY and TOM ALLAN OAKLEY could have been cousins but I need to find TOM ALLAN OAKLEY'S parents
I know that THOMAS OAKLEY B1794 had at least two brothers WILLIAM EDMUND OAKLEY B1795 DORSET and GEORGE OAKLEY B1798 DORSET and I am hoping that one if theses are TOM ALLAN OAKLEY'S father.

Hi as of yet no sighting of Tom in 1851, but there is this one in 1841:-

Allen Oakley b 1831 Dorset
George Oakley 1829 Dorset
Looks like they are at a school in High Street Poole
Census Ref HO107/294 /12/33 / 10
Not sure if yours, but thought worth a post!

This all makes sense,thank you.
Tom Allen Oakley was a corn merchant and he sent his children away to a school in 1881 ,could be the same school he went to.

sorry to bother you but what age does it give on the 1841 census for Edmund and Sarah Oakley please ?
I know that there was three Oakley brothers THOMAS B1794,WILLIAM EDMUNDS B1795 and GEORGE B1798 and I am now wondering if the EDMUND you have found is WILLIAM EDMUND B1795 or another brother

Hi,

Both are shown as 30 but ages for adults were generally adjusted up/down on 1841 census.

Thank you,that would mean born about 1811 give or take  2 or 3 years umm,have to think about this.

On 1861 census Edmund gives his age as 56, birthplace Blandford Forum.

Update;    Just found a marriage for an Edmund Oakley and a Sarah Wise, 2 February 1829 at Canford Magna.  Groom's parish:  Poole.  Bride's parish:  Parkstone.   Witnesses:  Jane Wise, Francis Budden
