Hello Dmbostwi,

Welcome to Rootschat.

Looks like Sancti is having a break at the moment, he has the Dalserf photographs, I don't have any but, I do have transcriptions. If you do not already have them, I can give you the transcriptions for WEIR & NORRIS. FRAME & MORTON. FRAME, HUTCHISON & BLACKWOOD.
There are 16 stone with FRAME mentioned in some way (sometimes whole families, sometimes just someone's middle name) too many to transcribe to Rootschat, can you narrow it down by supplying other surnames?

Thank you for your response. The ones I am most interested in are Frame and Morton as believe they are for my 6x's great grandparents John Frame and Alison Morton who married in Nov 1737 in Avondale.

I am interested in both the Weir/Norton & Hutchison/Blackwood because I have a William Hutchison married to Marion Weir in Carmichael Parish in March 1745. Both died in Carstairs but I am interested in seeing if those listed are related to mine. My Hutchison eventually became farmer of Kirkmuirhill.

As for all the Frames stones - I believe John Frame & Alison Morton parents to be John Frame & Margaret Milne and James Morton & Janet Hyall or Fyall.
John & Alison's son was also John Frame who married Elizabeth Wilson...
and their daughter was Helen Frame who married John Bryson (my 4th great grandparents)

I would be interested if anything regarding the Bryson name.

I had quick look for other surnames of Lanarkshire.

I've confirmed 3 generations of William Hutchison so would love if anything found for
William Hutchison/Margaret Dun or Dunn
William Hutchison/Jean Bryson (daughter of John Bryson and Helen Frame)

Thank you for post William Currie.
I had originally responded to post indicating an interest for following:
WEIR
WEIR NORRIS
FRAME
FRAME MORTON
FRAME HUTCHISON BLACKWOOD

All names are of interest but Frame Morton and Hutchison especially so. I have birth & marriage information for John Frame (b 1715 Oct 30 Avondale) who married Alison Morton (b 1714 Apr 9 Fife) 1737 Nov 4 in Avondale  . I don't have death information for either so I wonder if the Frame Morton reference in Dalserf churchyard is for same. I also have several generations of William Hutchison/Hutcheson & spouses: William Hutchison b 1790 Lesmahagow d 1867 Kirkmuirhill & Jean Bryson 1795 Avondale d 1877 St Rollox; William Hutchison b 1754 Douglas & Margaret Dun b 1758 Lesmahagow (I have no death info for either); & William Hutchison b  1730 Cadder-d1783 & Marion Weir Carnwath b 1725- d1818 (both died in Carstairs).
Whether you can assist or not, I appreciate the response. Season's Greetings.

Thank you for checking Lodger. I really appreciate it. I'll have to go back and re-read the posts to determine why I thought this was right forum for my names. I suspect I might need to move them to a different churchyard. Again, your help was great.
