  My ancestor Alexander Laing and wife Elizabeth married @

  Aberdour, Aberdeenshire in 1857 and are enumerated @

  Wisconsin, USA in the 1860 census with a year old son

  born Wisconsin.

  From where can I access information re departure/arrival ?

I found Alexander Laing arriving on 3 May 1859. His estimated birth year was 1839. His age was 20. The ship departed Glasgow, Scotland and arrived at New York. The name of the ship was Glasgow. I couldn't find Elizabeth on that ship.
