Birth details for Dorothy Michelborn Sussex lookup please

Hi all,

I currently can't find a birth for Dorothy Michelborn born C1670 Sussex she married Thomas Awcocke on 16 Nov 1708 Fletching, Sussex, England.

I have been unable to find a christening record so maybe she was previously married?

Thanks for your reply, It was only appeared as an extract on familysearch.org and confirmed on ancestry.com.au there were no further details.

The only Dorothy Michelbornes that I can find are way too early for this lady.  I can't see a marriage of a Michelborne male to a Dorothy.  The 1708 record does state that she was Mrs, but at this date it tends to mean that the lady was from the gentry.  Is this likely to be the case?

Just found the following Dorothy Mitcheburne/Michelborn born & Christened 5 Feb 1688 Merstham, surrey, england To John Mitcheburne

But surrey is a fair distance away from fletching sussex.

Also a death record Dorothy Alcock 9 Aug 1745 horsted-Keynes, Sussex, England

The only thing I have noticed is the distance of the birth record and of the marriage details which could mean it may not be her.
