Hi Rob and welcome to RC
Jacque Harrison has not been back since her one and only post.
But maybe her email address will get your reply.

In the meantime, see replies from Dundee and me, earlier.

Happy hunting  :)  :)

My parents took the Castel Felice from Sydney to Southampton in December 1967, and the Fairsky for the return voyage in 1968.
I've searched for their names on the National Archives site without any luck. All the names seem to be those of migrants. Does anybody know if manifests of non-migrant passengers exist somewhere?
Thanks in advance.
Ray

Did you have any luck… I’ve just found out my birth mother came to Australia on fairsky in 1969, I was put into state care as a toddler so have no information regarding her background or mine or anything… I’d love to be able to find a link to my family

If you know her name and she came as an immigrant you may find her name on this site which has assisted immigrants from that time.

If you know she is deceased Rootschat researchers may be able to find her on electoral rolls etc However you may not feel comfortable in disclosing her name and she could still be living.

Becw5 - Silly question probably, but do you know what state you were born in? (NSW, Qld etc)
That may help us to guide you to a link for extra info.

Why would you think that your birth month is incorrect? A child's birthdate wouldn't normally be changed prior to adoption (if you were adopted).

Where did you find that your mother's maiden name might be choppin or legon?

Please be aware that specific details re living persons are not to be used on this forum.

Maybe two different queries going on here.  But to the poster called Becw5

There are lots of searches that seem possible here at the NAA. Immigration, citizenship, migrant: https://www.naa.gov.au/explore-collection/immigration-and-citizenship

Perhaps your mother was a '£10 Pom'?

Hi

Could anybody advise me whether passenger lists are available online for the Fairsky in the late 1960's please.  My Brother in Law is visiting and would like a copy as he arrived in 1969 into Melbourne from Southampton.

Many thanks
