Richard Griffith Deunant Llanymawddwy
« on: Thursday 24 February 11 14:17 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find the death of my ggg grandfather Richard Griffith who was born at Deunant Feb. 17 1750. He married a Jane Jones (?) and know for sure they had a William Richard B. 1795, Evan Richard b. Oct. 6 1798, a John Richard and perhaps others.  I did find a burial for a Richard Griffith 1797 May 1 but that doesn't work and another one in 1827 at Troed Y Rhiw age 76.
I am coming to Wales in June and would sure like to find his burial - probably in the Llanymawddwy cemetery, I'm thinking. Evan Richard is buried there as is Richard Griffith's half brother William Richard who died Apr. 20 1839.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Catherine

The Richard Griffiths you found in 1827 looks very like my gggg grandfather who was born in Mallwyd, married Blanch Owen there and both died in Troed y Rhiw, Richard in 1827 and Blanch in 1817. Their son, John Richards died in Llanymawddwy in 1809.
