Many thanks Omega 1 for the Mary Howell burial.

The 1841 census does record William living with his mother, Ann, and sister, Celia, at Robeston West. His given age is 45. So thanks for another baptism.

Any marriages? Or am I being too greedy?

Your certainly not greedy.

Not having much luck with Marriages.I know from visiting Pembroke Record Office when on holiday ,some early 1800s records  for New Moat are missing, which is a pain.

I have been nosing :D on google .co.uk. Put in griffith howell born new moat.

A person has a web site My Howell Family which has names you are looking for, take a nose :D.

You dont say in your Profile where you live, which would help with suggestions i could make with your hunting.
Kind regards

Many thanks Orielbenfro. The Griffith Howel marriage to Mary Morgan in 1757 must be the one I want, so thanks for that. I presume that the records show no day or month for this event?

Thanks for the offer to look in the Records Office. I really don't think that I could impose on your kindness to that extent. I'm sure my list of queries would just get longer and longer. Every answer gives rise to another question.

Just to complete the story has anyone got the marriage of Griffith's son, Benjamin. It was suggested to me some time ago that he probably married Ann John at Llanfallteg on the 10th November 1794, but this information had passed through several hands before it got to me, so I have no idea as to its origin or accuracy. I'm hoping that the marriage record might indicate the groom's parish
