Does anyone have information about this pair- married probably in Bothwell/Holytown/Old Monklands c1832. Son William born 1834 in above places or Bargeddie. Father and son both miners. Son William married Jane Young in Holytown, Bothwell c1857.

Thank you. I have this marriage- that is where I got the parents names, William Robertson and Jean/jane Cowan. But I cannot find anything about the parents or any other family members. I cannot believe there were no siblings but cannot trace them. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you so much but I already have these details. It is his birth and his parents and siblings I cannot trace. I have looked everywhere I can think of but no William Robertson married to Jane/Jean Cowan . Even if they were not married, there is no trace of them. Any suggestions?

Early deaths perhaps

No sign of either of them on 1841 census. No deaths either on Scotland's people. On marriage cert of son they are not marked as 'deceased' in 1857. I'm really stuck! Thanks for your help, though!
