Hi
I don't think I have come across a Thomas Perry from Kiltegan or anywhere else - what years are we talking about and what religon, William is Fredericks father and Fred approx born 1850's so William maybe 1830's or earlier. Fred was 67 when his last child was born!

Hi Kagsy.   The Perrys I am interested in would be Church of Ireland.

My great grandfather, Nicholas Wilson, married an Elizabeth Perry in Dublin in 1893.   The most likely Elizabeth Perry I have been able to find was born in Kiltegan in 1865.   This makes sense to me as the Wilsons were located in Baltinglass.

Her father was a Thomas Perry, occupation Farmer.   Griffiths Valuation shows a Thomas Perry in Ballinasilloge, Parish of Hacketstown.   I notice there is also a John and a William Perry in Ballymaghroe, Hacketstown.  I guess that is your William.

There are also wills and probate records for two Thomas Perrys in Kiltegan, dated 1821 and and 1824.   The Church of Ireland Cemetary in Hacketstown has a gravestone erected by Thomas Perry of Buile in memory of his son John who departed this life on the 24th of September 1805 aged 19.

Hi, blueherron.

I have George Perry, b.1848 in Co. Wicklow, son of Thomas Perry. I can't find an exact place of birth for him, but his wife's family was from Kiltegan, and so it's likely that he was from the same area.

George was my g.g.-grandfather, and I have a fair amount of information about him and his descendants but not much about his ancestry. Would you be interested in exchanging information to see if there might be a connection?

Dear kagsy

Just wondering if you are still looking for in formation on William Perry?
I was wondering if you know how many children he had?
