Albert Rusgrove born 1852, Ludlow

Hi all
I am trying to find the parents of Albert Rusgrove who was born Dec 1852 in Ludlow (registered as Rushgrove).

I have found him on the 1861 census, living in Birmingham with his brother and his wife and by the looks of it, his mother, Hannah Rusgrove.

I cant find him on the 1871 or 1881 census and I dont know who his father was or his mother Hannah's maiden name.

Albert himself, married Sarah (surname unknown) in 1880.

Any help in filling in the missing information would be greatfully received.

(1st child was b Staffs -so maybe that is where Albert is in 1881??

I did find the marriage date, but how do you find the spouses surname?

If you click on the page number on freeBMD -you get the names of all on that page
In this case there were only 2 names
Albert & Sarah

Hope I didn't sound unfriendly - It is always good to check registrations on FreeBMD yourself -in case of typos-especially by me !!!

1861 Census Brother William born c 1840 is a Blacksmith and in 1881 he is still in Birmingham, Warwickshire and now says he is born c 1840, Kington, Hereford.

1871 Census William is under RUSGGORE born c 1840, Kington

All others look to be born in County but image is feint. Remember ages were rounded in 1841 Census.

Susan age 25 seems to be the Child of a Joseph/Susanna christened 13 Jan 1815, Kington.
So this Joseph may have been married twice.

Joseph born c 1841 may be a Grandson staying with Grandparents.

Last 3 appear on the 1861 Census.

So even more confusing and looks like Hannah was never Married unless she should be Daug in Law, not Daug

I think you really need Alberts Birth and Marriage Certs to sort this out.

Hi,  if you do track him down, the row of nailworkers cottages are still there in kington, alongside where the railway station used to be, i think they were homeworkers employed by Meredith's foundry.
