Hi Drop Bear,
I have no link to your family but did find a few of them in the Cambusnethan cemetery records. You may already have this information but just in case you dont.
First of all, a burial in Common (or Public) Ground.
LYDIA BAXTER. Servant, Overtown, aged 20 years, unmarried.
Parents - Andrew Baxter and Elizabeth Stewart.
Interred 19th January 1881.
The next two are interred in Section D 130.
ANDREW BAXTER, miner, Wishaw, aged 54 years, married.
Parents - Robert Baxter and Margaret Donaldson.
Interred 12th June 1889.
AGNES BAXTER, Wishaw, aged 4 months.
Parents - Andrew Baxter and Jeanie Lindsay.
Interred 8th June 1895.
The last two are interred in Section D 70.
FRANCIS GLIDDEN, coal miner, Bowhousebog, aged 25 years, married.
Parents - william Glidden and Grace Harris.
Interred 8th September 1888.
ELIZABETH GLIDDEN, Motherwell, aged 32 years, widow.
Parents - Andrew Baxter and Elizabeth Stewart.
Interred 7th September 1897.
Not much, but it may help to pad-out the tree a little.
Not too many Baxters in Cambusnethan parish, none mentioned in the Monumental Inscriptions in the parish churchyard.
Same for Dalziel parish, no Baxters mentioned on the stones in the old parish burial ground or in South Dalziel parish churchyard.
There are a few in Shotts parish I think, but I don't have a full transcript of the stones there.
Good luck,
Lodger
