Meredith's of Rhondda and Nelson

My Meredith family orig from Radnorshire came to Glamorgan. They were first in Ystrad Road Rhondda, then Llantrisant and Nelson.
My grandfather's cousin Ira Meredith had the Barbers shop where Weavers solicitors now is.
My grt grandmother Mary Jane Meredith married Edward Rowlands, he died in the Senghenydd explosion.

I have some Merediths in Llantrisant. My Grandmother was Esme D Meredith (1916). She married an Evans.

Are your Meredith’s originally from Radnorshire ?

To be honest, I'm not sure about the Merediths, they seem to have moved from Cardiff to Llantrisant around the turn of the C19th/C20th. The first was, I believe, Philip Meredith (b. c1856) and his son William 'Billy' Meredith, who was my maternal ggf. The central character in my Llantrisant family appears to have been Mary Jane Davies (b. c1860), my gggm, whose 1st husband was James Dooley. The Dooleys and the Merediths remained close afer Mary Jane married Richard Evans. His daughter Sarah married my Meredith, William in around 1914.

My grt gran Mary Jane Meredith’s families lay had links to Cardiff through two of her children moving there but nothing before . If you do find a link with Radnorshire I have lots of information .
