Feel  a bit elated here

checking the electoral rolls

Hilda and George Philip lived at 42 Warwick Street, Punchbowl

so the adopted daughter married and had a large number of children who look like  they are still living

Jenn
Hi Jenn.
I cannot believe this I have just found George and Hilda Phillip with two children George Hartley age 3 and Janet age 1 travelling on the 'Berrima' 28th December 1922 to Australia. Just had to tell you.

Regards Di

Hi Jenn,
That is brilliant cant quite take in all this info you must have some great data bases. would you have any info on any of Hildas children it would be great to write to them and tell them all about there long lost British relatives. I honestly cannot believe I have learnt so much. Thanks alot.

Regards Di

No  Australia Births are not  available after 1910 in NSW on  their ata base.  Their is an index to 1918 but nothing after that.

The birth  and marriage detailed by MERLIN  for Robert Benjamin Baines is  information from  the tree I mentioned to you on Ancestery, which you need a subsrciption to view.

I have contacted the owner of this tree via Ancestery  so hopefully he or she will be in touch and  then will be able to contact you

Hi Merlin
Thanks for all the dates, it is interesting to see Hilda's biological parents and siblings.  Seems a little strange to have the middle child adopted though.
