Also, if you add some family surnames to your post here, folks may be able to help further with your request.

There is a memorial cairn situated in Strathclyde Park near where the village stood, and I think there is still an annual gathering there around the first Saturday in June, often followed, I believe, by a dance in the evening.

Hi Scottmum

The family name is Fraser.

I am aware of the Bothwellhaugh reunions and 5 of us do try and get to them as often as possible.  About 4 generations of our family lived in the village.

Ah, so the photo hadn't posted first time. Great that it has now.

Was it passed down to you from an ancestor?

As with other local pictures from that timescale, I wonder if perhaps the children with the large white collars were Lithuanian.
