Sounds like medium-format/120 film or something similar.

Not too common these days, but many professional photographers and experimental photographers (myself included!) like to use it still, so a pro-lab is probably a good bet to start with (i.e. a photo processing lab the professionals use, not the ones that do one-hour photos in shopping centres!)
