John do son 7 scholar
thomas do son 5 scholar
Grace do dau 2

all born Amlwch, living Fany? Bryn Rd, Amlwch

Is this them?? the only ones I can see born Amlwch. No sign of an Ellen unless she is/was margaret Ellen??

Do you know any of his siblings names or actual parents?

I'm sorry I was under the impression he was born in Almwch from your first post. I thought you were after census. Can you tell us which census you already have or/and what you are actually after  :)

from your first post:-

Hi,

I can see Owen and his wife in 1881/71/61/51 censuses - always at Gwyddelyn in Llanbadrig, Anglesey - and a Farmer

1881 - Gwyddelyn
Owen - age 76
Ellen - age 71
Owen T - (Grandson) - age 5 - says born Llanbadrig

What happened to their son Thomas in 1881 (see below) - has he married and started his own family?

1871 - Gwyddelyn Isaf
Owen  - age 65
Elin - age 61
Thomas (Son) - age 23

1861 - Gwyddelyn
Owen - age 58
Ellen - age 50
Thomas (Son) - age 15
Catherine Hughes (House Servant) age 17

1851 - Gwyddelyn
Owen - age 45
Eleanor - age 41
Thomas (Son) - age 3

1841 - Gwyddelyn
Owen - age 40
Mary Williams age 15  - ? Sister/ House servant - Nothing shown to identify who this is

All born in Llanbadrig.

Do you know Ellen/Elin/Eleanor's maiden name or when she married Owen? - presumably between 1841/51.

Alan

Sorry I have no idea the maiden name of Ellen or what happened  to  Thomas, only  that they had a daughter called Mary who had  Thomas Owen my grandfather in Amlwch workhouse,  who went on into the army he married in 1914 my mother was born in 1916 and he lost his life in the same year when his ship was sunk off Ireland called  the Connemara

What a sad story.

Think I have found some more information for you. All still in Llanbadrig

1881 Shop y Bont -

Thomas - age 33
Anne (wife) - age 39
William T - age 2
Mary Hughes (Servant) - age 22

1891 back at Gwyddelyn

Thomas now a Farmer  - age 43
Ann - age 50
Owen T (Son) - age 15
William T (Son) - age 12

I assume Owen and wife Ellen died 1881/1891.

1901 - High Street

Ann - age 60 (Widow)
William (Son) - age 22

Thomas must have died 1891/1901 - There are several possibilities on Free BMD
