Wilson BEANEY
« on: Thursday 21 April 05 15:08 BST (UK) »
I noticed in a reply given by Ruth to Gordon Beaney last September that she had found several BEANEYS in the national archives in South Africa, including a Wilson BEANEY (ref MHG 0 8767  1906).  I was struck by this name because 'Wilson' is a recurring  first name in my branch of the Beaney family, originally from Newbottle in County Durham and from the mid-19th century in Northumberland. Is any more information available on this person?
Thanks,
Kath

Hi Kath,
I cannot find anything at present.
You could try writing to the TAB archives which may be able to give you the details of the death notice. This could give you his age and place of birth. Alternatively I could apply for a death notice for you but this takes time to arrive.
Just let me know - the archives also take ages to reply.
Ruth

Hi, Ruth,
Thanks for the reply. If it isn't too much trouble for you to get the death notice, that would be great.
Thanks,
Kath
