 This is interesting, especially that I have seen on the Faringdon PRs a couple of mentions of Oliver Sansom not attending church. It seem's I have to have another look at the Highworth PRs, according to ; http://forebears.co.uk/england/wiltshire/highworth there are 12 people of the name Sansum occurring  in the Highworth records, Why have I not seen 12?

I've not found that many in Highworth, not up to about 1812 anyway.  I wonder if that total may include some from the 19th century which migrated from other parishes?

I had a quick look but I need more time, also I want to go through the Bishops Transcripts but they are even messier than the PRs.
I did come across a couple of Sansum,s in the 1600's. I also wonder about the Simson/Symson's , mabe they have been mistaken for Sansom/Sansum in some cases.
