Edward Short ( my 2nd  great grandfather ) appeared before the Spring Assizes in Armagh 1836 charged with burglary.  His uncle was the prosecutor.  A death sentence was recorded commuted to transportation for 7 years. On his Certificate of  Freedom in 1843 his date of birth is 1813 and native place as Armagh.
I would like to find further information about Edward and his family if possible.
Is there anyone who can help me ?
I am new to RootsChat.com and so I hope that I am wording this request in the correct manner.

Many Thanks
Selbourne
