James, Searching in Ireland is quite difficult, I have been looking for the death of a chap, who was the husband of Susannah MCDOWELL, for about 5 years now, probably no connection to your McDowell/McDowall.......but you never know........Del.      P.S....Have you tried the Ros Davies website ?
