Thomas and Mary Thompson of Dollgelly
« on: Saturday 02 April 11 22:10 BST (UK) »
Thomas and Mary kept the Liquor Vaults Pub in Lion Street from about 1868 until they died in 1878 and 1880 respectively.  Can any one tell me anything about the pub or where they may be buried?   I'm visiting the area next weekend and would like to visit their graves.  They may have been Catholic.
Thanks

The best bet might be to visit the archives, closed on Wednesdays, where they keep the burial records. A short drive from the main car park or 7-8 min walk.

See http://www.gwynedd.gov.uk/gwy_doc.asp?cat=3693&doc=12971&Language=1

Put the post code into Google or Bing maps to see the location - LL40 2YF

Lion Street and the St Mary's Church are close to the car park and the Catholic Church is on Meyrick Street but I am not sure if there is a burial ground.
