1901 look-up request
« on: Tuesday 05 April 11 18:31 BST (UK) »
Would somebody be kind enough to look up Annie Louisa Crisp for me in the 1901 census.
She lived in Birmingham.
Many thanks

According to the 1911 she was born in Birmingham and was 26 so makes it 1885

Looks like the census was wrong. Just found that she was born in 1879

Struggling to get her on the 1881 (went to India at some time) so perhaps the 1891 may find her.

cannot find her after this
did she come back from india?
also cannot find the parents marriage
believe joseph was possibly the son of joseph/mary crisp
there is a joseph crisp born c1857,birmingham on both the 1861,1871 censuses with these parents
if you want the full census entries then i will post them here

Mick
That really was useful stuff. Thankyou.
It fits in exactly with suspicions we had.
You're right about India. That's the next big gap to fill in.
Any suggestions about where to try for more info. Annie's father was a gun maker and went there with the British Army.
Thanks again
