I am trying to proove/disprove a family legend, which says that a great Aunt and Uncle of mine adopted Connie & Herbert Creighton after their parents death, (niece & nephew of Rose Austin nee Warren)
I have found Connie and Herbert Creighton's birth in Poole, and have found the parents, Herbert Alfred Creighton and Grace H Owen marriage Dec q 1933 Poole.
I have traced Herbert Alfred Creighton's family back to a James & Rebecca Creighton, James born 1828 Inkpen & his wife Rebecca born 1829 Ham, Wiltshire.
I have also tried to approach it from my great Aunt Rose Warren born 1874 Stratton St Margaret, but as there are numerous step siblings, it gets complicated.
What I would welcome is the parents names of Grace H Owen born c1908.  Can anyone help?

You may have to order Graces Wedding cert to be sure of father.

There is a Grace Hilda Owen , living in Brentford. Born Middlesex circa 1906

If you think that is the correct Grace Hilda Owen, you can look for the family in the 1911 census. You are not allowed to ask for look ups from the 1911 on here, but this will help.
