John Nancollis, Liverpool

I went to primary school in South Liverpool in the early 60s. There were two brothers in the school called Nancollis. They lived on St Marys Road.Mum said they were an established local family.

this is Garston - where I live - I will ask around to see if I can locate them for you - can I ask your mums surname please ?  I might know her - mine is Oakes - ask your mum does she know any Oakes family in Garston ?

Well I have posted on Garston Past and Present website and had this reply

Wendy -  My uncle John Nancollis lived in Eslington Street.,Garston and He had 2 sons John and Geoffrey who would have been at school at that time.

So there is still a relative in Garston of that particular John Nancollis - we have to find out if John Harold Nancollis was Uncle Johns dad - ? I have asked Wendy to see if she can find out

My mum is from North Wales but has lived in Liverpool since 1943. Yes Eslington Street rings a bell!
