can anyone help as to would Bronsilltin Bettws Evan be a  farm name or place name, it is on my 3xgrt grans birth certificate, thank you,

Hi Jaz,
I would suggest it is a farm name.   Betws Evan is a parish in the hundred of Troedyraur about 5 miles north of Newcastle Emlyn.   Bron in Welsh means breast or bank in English.   I think Silltin is an anglicised version of Sylltyn.   Near Beulah, Newcastle Emlyn there are references to Nant Sylltyn (Sylltyn Stream) so from this I would hazard a guess, and I stress it is a guess that the name Bronsilltin refers to a property on or close to the banks of the Sylltyn Stream.
