Creighton or Creaton
« on: Friday 15 April 11 22:38 BST (UK) »
I am looking for information on my great great grandfather, Edward Creighton who I believe married Maria Moffitt.  They had children, one of whom was Thomas Creighton/Creaton born 1850 approx who married mary mcgarry in 1873 (my great grandfather).  thomas and mary then had children Patrick 1873, edward 1880, thomas 1882, francis 1887, peter 1891, mary 1875, john 1877, michael 1885.

i am trying to track down siblings of edward and also siblings of thomas (1850) if possible.  I have 3 trees and i can't tie them in together.

The names Creighton and MacGarry were known in Lloughlynn, Roscommon, my father's home town.
I hope this is of some use.

Patrick
Thank you for responding, I've made great headway since I last posted and have actually met cousins that I did not know about from Roscommon, primarily Frenchpark, Leitrim and surrounds.

I will try and send you what I have.
Please bear in mind I am trying to piece the Creighton married to Grogan tree and want to see how far back I can go with the Creighton line.
I may be wrong with my dates, so hoping you have a fit for  me and can give me more generations or if you see anything that is incorrect please tell me.
