HILL family, poss Ashby de la Zouch
« on: Sunday 24 April 05 00:22 BST (UK) »
I realise this is a long shot but I am looking for family who originated in Leics. but in later years (1841 onwards at least) were in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.

Timothy HILL (c1775) married Mary ?? Thomas was a brewer according to 1841 census.

They had at least 2 children
Thomas, c1816 born Ashby de la Zouch
Isaac, c1819, assume born same place.

Both of these were plasterers and this continued to be the 'family occupation' up until about 5 years ago when my dad retired so any HILL with a plastering connection could be related!

If anyone has access to parish records or similar, and can find the birth of Thomas or Isaac or the marriage of Timothy and Mary, I will be eternally grateful.

Thank you
Sam
