Deaths in Hale family St Helier 1850-70s
« on: Monday 18 April 11 03:27 BST (UK) »
James Hale and Ruth Young mar. 1 jul 1850, on Is of Wight, immediately moved to St Helier, Jersey. From 1850-1871, James was Master of the British & Foreign School, all their children were born there, and until her death Ruth was Mistress of the school, Daug. Georgina taking her place at her death. Have all details on birth/death of all except -
Ruth died c1869, Georgina early 1870s, just before the family left Jersey.
Anyone know of a way to find their death or burial.
The family was Independant Chapel (Open Brethran) which seams to add the task.
thanks, Beverley

Hi Beverly,

Would be interested in comparing notes re the Hale family. James Hale was my 2nd great grandfather. My grandparents were Maxwell & Evelyn Hale late of Prospect, South Australia.

Kind Regards,
Joanne
