His sister Jessie Love Glen Rae (1806-1843) married Captain Hector Munro born 1796, died 1868 Galt, Ont. Canada. Hector Munro fought in the War of 1812 at Lundy's Lane and Chrysler's farm. His name is on the Brock Monument, which he helped erect in Queenstown Heights, Kingston, Ontario. His son George Gower Munro also distinguished himself in the military in India. George Gower Munro had a daughter Maggie Georgina Granville Gower Munro (1851-1933) - my great grandmother. She married John Milne Bruce in 1870 and had kids William Hector, Alexander Stuart, Isabella Catherine and Maggie Glen Bruce (married Phineas DeVere Hunt). In 1880 she married George Matthew Hunt b. 1854 Waterford Ireland. They had George Allen (my grandfather), William Henry, Ella DeVere, Anna Georgina Pennefeather and Constance Hamilton Hunt.
