Hi folks
I'm on the trail of my female descent! (never an easy task!).
I have Sarah Woodcock born 1732 married Michael Rivett @ Burbage 30.6.1752.
I have Sarah's father as Benjamin Woodcock who married Elizabeth,
Benjamin must have been born around 1700.
Does anyone know what Elizabeth's surname  was please?

How sure are you she was Elizabeth?

I can't find a marriage to her on Familysearch.org but I can find one Benjamin Woodcock to Mary Bacon on 16 Dec 1724 at Saint Mary,Hinckley,Leicester,England. Burbage is on the outskirts of Hinckley.

Thank you for replying - My brother has found a Will that shows her name as Elizabeth. I know, I stumbled on Mary Bacon as well - until we found the Will.

Is the Benjamin Woodcock you refer to: Pte. Benjamin Woodcock Yorkshire L.I. who fell in the first world war?
